The Annual Court Sizzle

leave a comment »

The best are saved for last.  Every term, the U.S. Supreme Court releases its most controversial decisions at the very end.  Recently, the Court ordered the release of California prisoners, upheld an Arizona statute penalizing business that hire undocumented workers, and today refused to take a California case challenging a statute that provides undocumented students with in-state tuition rates.  Several states, such as Texas, have adopted a law on public policy grounds.

Stay tuned for updates as the Supreme Court releases its opinions.
